i have a problem.
i didnt played pr for a long time,and if i want to start it there comes this:

The Guide is being remade...

You clicked the wrong icon it seems. What you were starting was the guide, not the PR game. Make sure you didn't delete the original shortcut.

The Online guide at realitymod.com/guide is down for atleast a year or more, because the DEVs are remaking it....

The mod is alive and kicking whit PR:Arma2 mod kicking on the door, and PR2 ( a standalone game in pre-production) and a new release on a few months old....

The guide being offline doesnt mean that the mod is dead...

You are clicking on the Project Reality Guide icon. The guide is currently being worked on and unavailable, hence why you can't acces it (without a password). Click the icon named Project Reality 0957 to start the actual game.

There are three icons all with the PR logo on your desktop. As Adriaan said, only the one named "Project Reality 0957" is the one you should click (unless you want to read the manual of course, then click on that).

If you only have that one icon that leads you to the guide, you must have deleted / moved the other ones accidentally.

Can't wait for this guide to be completed, I've got a feeling it's going to be epic.

The guide does look awesome. I wish there was a way for the community to help, because I would write articles for the guide like there was no tomorrow.

Just go here to start your game if you don't have a shortcut on the desktop:
