I get asked this question all the time. Some say all you got to do is to go into manager and mute then unmute yourself. This personally never works for me but here is a way that does. Sometimes after a map change or a server restarts/crashes you come back and your VoIP might mess up. To fix this hold your VoIP button for 30 secs. that should be long enough for BF2 to mute you. After words you should be able to communicate with your squad.

well another way if you cant hear anyone on Voip when you join a game go to vent or TS3 and do the test mic thing after that it should work fine

And for those that broke their headset and have VOIP turn off whenever they save?
