Ah, memories. First theme has me thinking about a much more 'rough' PR. Hills of Hamyong, high precision fire raining down upon the Blufor (was it brits or USMC at that time? I think it changed at some point), without deviation. Maps were smaller, more action, less time. But mainly, I'm thinking Jungle.
It sounds deadly. There's a thrill. Compared to BF2, everything is just much more dangerous.

Second theme, lighter. PR changed to its current form. More desert-ish, many Afghanistan style maps. Insurgents vs US as new 'default' team setup as opposed to the PLA that, at least I, am thinking more of when listening to the first theme. Gameplay is a bit slower, deviation has been in for a few versions... Muttrah v2, 4x4km maps.

Last theme, well, we all know what PR looks like now. A lot more 'professional' style. Even more calm music compared to the other ones, and the gameplay also came to a more 'relaxed' point - until you start to take fire that is. It's a bit... periodic. Long walks/rides, but then the action. But the theme mainly makes me think about the slow paced parts of gameplay. Sitting in an APC or helicopter, waiting for the insertion, or laying in ambush as Militia on Fools Road. Compared to BF2, everything is a lot more complex and feels more like Afghanistan than Vietnam (the style I mean, I do not pretend to have any experience about either in real life, of course).

Ah brings back good memories, but there was an older piano-based theme before with the convoy movie clip on Muttrah City.
