Hi all,
On the squad training video guide (yeah.. you know wich one), it says that the rifleman should throw his ammo bags on the floor so everyone can rearm, and then collect them back when finished, that way he can use them again. for some reason i cant pick them up again, i press g but nothing happens. was this option canceled in later versions of PR or am i just doing it wrong?

Ammo no longer re-arms like that. You'll need to hit a supply crate or ammo box to grab the extra bag.

... unless the ammo bag has barely been used. one ammo bag contains 200 "units" of resupply, to rearm the ammo bag it only takes 170 "units".

Basically in that tut was meant that u stay on the dropped ammo bag and wait until it rearms the ammo bag you have in inventory, which would mean you "picked it up".

The problem is that it would rearm your missing mags, grenades and stuff first, and it was maybe half-emptied by a squad mate, so you aint always able to pick it up this way. However i dont think picking it up with G key would even work...

so basically this is no longer possible, this makes the rifleman much less usefall.

Yeah, exactly.

EIT: Unless, as stated, you can if it was used JUST a little...

G doesn't pick up the ammo bag. It resupplies like any other item; just stand over the bag and if it hasn't been used too much, you'll get an ammo bag back.
