Losing FPS after about an hour of gameplay

Hey guys.
I've had my computer about a year now, and I figured out that I maybe should reinstall it.
I've never had any kind of FPS problems before I reinstalled it, but now, its really messed up.
The problem only occurs on the most demanding maps, like Fallujah West and Kokan.
What happens is that I play fine for like an hour, but suddenly my FPS drops below 15(!).
I've thought about over-heating an such, but shouldn't I have had this problem before I reinstalled my computer if that's the issue?
I also increase my graphics card's fan to run 55%.
I have downloaded the newest driver for my graphics card, and I have also used Windows-Update to download all sorts of new stuff that my computer need.
SPECS:
Operating System
MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.80GHz
Wolfdale 45nm Technology
RAM
4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz (5-5-5-1
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5QPL-AM (LGA775)
Graphics
BenQ G2420HDB (1920x1080@60Hz)
XFX Radeon HD 5750 512MB GDDR5
Hard Drives
488GB Seagate ST3500418AS ATA Device (SATA)
Optical Drives
ATAPI iHAS124 Y ATA Device
DTSoftBusCd00
Audio
Logitech G35 Headset
If you need some more information about my computer, go ahead ask.
Thanks,
saXoni.
I can also add that I have an issue with the VOIP. It seems to disappear when I stay still for too long. People in my squad can hear me, but I can not hear them.
If I stay still for too long again, the VOIP comes back.
It's very annoying.

Had the same FPS Probs on the most city maps like fallujah west:
On a Lan Server Map i host alone i got minumum 35 FPS; not much.
In Multiplayer FPS drops because of more vehicles, Vehicle LOD bug, destructable Objects ect...
BTW i was playing on a GTX470//4GB RAM//
[email protected].
I tested almost every driver and gfx Setting...
Finaly the solution: I Upgrade my cpu to
[email protected] Ghz and got in EVERY Situation 60 FPS due Vsnyc limitation on highest setting.
Note the the GPU is in IDLE mode the most time, so PR is VERY CPU HUNGRY
You have a 5750 which is not the best card for PR with its high view distance and much buildings and a weak CPU. exspecially at 1920
Sry mate, only solution is upgrade both.
Pr wil be optimized in the next patch, but i doubt you see much difference with your hardware

The HD 5750 will play PR just fine on medium and some high settings. Garack may be right about the CPU though. Only odd thing is that the performance degrades over time which, not to be a broken record, sounds like overheating. Has the computer crashed after playing for long periods? If not, what's the longest time you've been playing while experiencing this gradual drop in FPS? If it was at least a few hours then it most likely isn't overheating.
By reinstalled your computer do you mean you reinstalled PR on your computer? If that's what you mean, how long ago was it since you had removed PR?

I reinstalled my computer, which means that I removed everything on it.
As I said, I never had these kind of problems before doing the re-install, as I played every map on High without any sorts of problems.
Before doing the re-install I could play PR like 5 hours straight without noticing any issues. In fact, that's the longest I've played PR straight.
But now, I can play it like an hour and a half before the FPS drops.
Overheating doesn't make any sense, though, as it never got overheated before the re-install.

Not overheating. You just dont examined this before cause Its a little Random. Depence on code and view direction, maps, players build much/less assets on maps(how many players and so on.
Upgrade you hardware when you can.
When not: The next patch will mainly a performance patch.

So you're saying that it has nothing to do with my re-installation, and that this issue would've occurred, no matter if I re-installed my computer or not?
That doesn't make much sense to me.

Ah so a fresh OS install. It probably isn't overheating, especially if you aren't crashing. It may be caused by some sort of memory leak where the memory usage of PR grows to very high numbers. I've noticed a few people having this issue recently, so try running PR some time when you don't need to use the computer, take note of the memory usage, leave it idle for a while then check the memory usage again. If it continues to grow and your framerate is dropping at the same time then that should be what's wrong. Unfortunately if this is the case, I wouldn't know how to solve it.

Compatibility mode only creates a shim thats emulates a little winapi values.
In easy mode; it makes win 7 more look like xp(version numbers). cant cost performance.-check my anwer in the other topic

Alright. When I'm running PR without the FPS loss, It's using 3.08 GB of my RAM. When I'm getting the lag, It's using 3.20 GB of my RAM.

That's pretty close to your maximum especially when when taking dead modules into consideration. You must be running a lot of background processes though because I don't think that much memory should be in use when you're playing PR.
Also if you do normally run in compatibility mode try Tarthkin's suggestion and check your memory usage.

I do not run it with compatibility mode, neither as administrator. I had Mumble and TS3 running in the background.
Honestly I'm thinking about selling this piece of shit and buy myself a new one with a bit more RAM, an i7 quad processor and a better graphics card, as PR: Arma will beat the **** out of this computer.

Well, you should always be running BF2 as administrator even when playing vanilla. It's pretty much a necessity in PR and in BF2 and other games it can solve many potential problems.

PC is like a car,and windows is the driver;changing the driver does not change the car,or
how fast it can go.Your settings for the game have probably changed since the re-install.
As far as the settings: in the catalyst control panel set it all
to auto, and antialiasing mode to performance (msaa),in the game set aa (antialiasing)
to x2 and (or) try playing at the lower resolution just to see if the amount of video memory (512mb) on the 5750 card is not enough, which is very likely.
High settings and x8 aa for example makes the usage go up to almost a 1gb
(that is just the video memory, not main system ram).
You can create another profile in windows and run the game from there, that would use less
system memory overall when playing. You can overclock your cpu,and (or) find a good
deal on a quadcore LGA775 cpu,as there should be a lot of these now on ebay.
i7 wont fit,so you would need a motherboard, ram (ddr3) and cpu at the very least.
Main point:if it ran fine before,it should run fine now with the same hardware.
edit:
ps
Try playing on the different servers just to see if things change or not.

I would start by installing Everest or some similar app to log all possible variables from ur computer. Then check those logs to see if any particular component hits 100% usage or too high temps etc.
