Ok, thx for the info. However I still don't know how to record demo for PR. I downloaded BR from BF2 Dedicated Server 1.50 - Windows (Build 1.5.3153-802.0) ? Download ? BF-Games.net but there is no options for mod changing. How to do that?

From the link i posted..
Creating Demos: To make a custom demo of any length, you must be in Singleplayer mode, or on a server of your own creation (See Local Servers below) - you can't record your own demos on Multiplayer Internet servers. To start recording a demo, use the demo.recorddemo [demoname] command in the Command Console (See the Advanced Tweaking section). When you want to stop the demo, use the demo.stoprecording command in the console. Your demo has now been saved as a [demoname].bf2demo file in your Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Demos\ directory.

Ok...I figured out how to record a demo but i can't see it in community tab. I pasted files to my documents and still nothing. Are there any program to launch demos?

Here is a quick checklist to record Battlerecorder files in BF2

Singleplayer

1. Load up a game of your choice.
2. In the console (press ` ) type the following : demo.recordDemo [insert demo name here]
3. You should then get the message ; recording demo.....
4. Close the console and play PR :D
5. When finished recording type in the console the following : demo.stoprecording
6. Close PR and go to the following location on your disk drive :
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\Demos
7. You should see your battlerecorder file in this location. Now you need to copy and paste this into you Demo folder in your Battlefield 2 folder in your "My Documents". This is probably the following adress or something similar :
C:\Users\(your name)\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default\demos
8. Finally load up PR and go to your Barracks section of the menu and then Battlerecorder and hey presto you should see your file in the section containing the recorded battles (this may not be the exact name in the menus, but it will be close).
9. Click the file (you should see the map name) and press play.

Multiplayer

1. Join a server which has Battlerecorder enabled.
2. Once the round has finished go to the barracks section and download the relavent file.
3. After downloaded select the file in your library and press play.

Google battledirector, it's a useful little app to manage and play demos outside bf2.

Thx very much Chieftain! You are my hero ;) Love you ;*.

I didn't notice barracks before in PR menu so I didn't come up with that idea.

Might have to do with the 1.41-1.5 patch, or I might be wrong. After that change I haven't been able to run it from there and had to do it through PR directly. Personal preference, I like to run br files through the game.

This is an old topic but ... I tried what you said but it seems it does not work well with our pr current version (1.0)

May anyone confirm this please?

ps: I managed to have the files an all but barracks is not showing
ps2: Coop game in a local server

Because Step 7 needs to be:

C:\Users\(your name)\Documents\ProjectReality\Profiles\Default\demos

in v1.0. ProjectReality, not Battlefield 2.

If you cannot download your demo from Battlefield 2 Project Reality, screencap it (PrintScreen), then paste on Paint.

Type the address manually on a browser and download it. After it's downloaded, place it in C:\Users\(your name)\Documents\ProjectReality\Profiles\Default\demos

Worked for me. Hope it helps!
