VOIP auto disables

I do not have a mic but still wish to listen to the voip talk. When I go into the sound settings and enable voip and turn the receive volume all the way up it automatically disables voip when I join a game. Not sure what to do to fix this as it is very difficult to play this game when your entire squad can talk and you have no idea what is going on.

Look for either Realtek Digital Input or Stereo Mix. If they are disabled, enable one or both of them. If you don't see them, right click anywhere in the list of devices and check Show Disabled Devices.
Try this.

Thanks whatshisname, this worked. I do not have a mic, but what i did was just plug another set of headphones in the mic jack and set them as my default mic and now i can hear my squad members over voip. Thanks again.

No problem. If I'm correct, it should work with any form of input device being detected, whether through software or hardware. Note that headphones can in fact be used as microphones. ;)
