System Specs

Hi all! :D

My first post on the PR forum.
My brother got me into playing PR a while back, I always played it on his computer as it was the only one powerful enough. He's moved out and I am upgrading my computer to run my own. I haven't got my own copy of BF2 yet, otherwise I would be playing PR on my mums uber alienware she got recently.

Here are my current system specs:

Total Physical Memory 2,048.00 MB (upgraded recently)
Processor x86 Family 15 Model 39 Stepping 1 AuthenticAMD ~2188 Mhz
Graphics card: Radeon HD 5670 1gb (spare from my mums alienware)
(Please inform me of any other specs you need)

Would this be enough to run PR on highest graphics, I'm guessing I'll need to update my CPU... :(

It should be good...
You may need to lower the settings a bit though...

Why does your mom have an Alienware anyway? LOL

It should run pretty well, I'm not into processors but I have a Core 2 Duo @2.4GHz, GTS250 1GB and 4GB of RAM and I can max it out everything on 1280x1024 (my PC screen...)

I think we might be like side by side on this, meaning you probably can run this really well.

(Your mom has an alienware? :confused :)

Ahh VAT free and all that malarkey? She should have got two, perhaps.. ;)

I run PR with a 3850 all on High/Max (and with un-noticeable jaggies so AA is fairly high too), so you should be fine. As far as i can remember it's not CPU intensive, but it does only use one core. There are probably ways around this though (I don't need em though with 3.4Ghz Duo).

Would like your GPU.. Wanna trade? Hahahaha

As I remember, to bypass this core problem you just go CTRL+ALT+DEL and right click Bf2.exe (or whatever it is) click "set affinity" and tick both cores, not sure if it helps though.

Because Alienware is completely overrated, not to mention over priced. Trust me, you're better off without one.
