Question about License Agreement

Okay so I've read through the license agreement here

and I noticed it says that one of the requirements is:

Must have an online server that is actively hosting a Battlefield 2 game server.

Now I use to have a BF2 game server long ago, in the year the game was released but I took it down due to the fact that I didn't play BF2 for quite some time.

Now the question is the fact that in order for me to get the license in order to host the PR server that I must get a regular BF2 hosting up? Is there even a way that I don't need to do that?

My personal worry is that I only have enough to get one or the other server up. I necessarily don't have the extra funds to get my old BF2 server going again.(the cost is due to the fact that Ill be getting a dedicated game server from a third party, because of the bandwidth requirements and wanting to keep the server up 24/7). Also I would have no one who would want to play a vanilla BF2 as all my friends and clan mates only play PR.

I know it's part of the requirements but is there any leniency on that? I would really love to get a PR server going, but its just that only requirement that would prevent me in doing so.

I don't think you need to be hosting a vBF2 server!
My clan is hosting a PR server without a vBF2 one so are many clans.... Most PR clans are PR dedicated clans.
I think that when you set up your server you have to ask the server provider for a BF2 server.... Or something like that?
I am not sure...

Well considering this is a 'mod' I may be wrong but the game itself is Battlefield 2, you host a BF2 Server and choose to host the PR client, I have never done server hosting nor do I plan but that is the way I always thought it was.

Pretty much this.

Locked. Please direct any queries you have about the server license to [R-DEV]Epoch
