Very very long time chaps, haven't played this since... Blimey lol Even have Sir. still in my name.

Anyway cutting to the chase? I've been playing for about a week now and am yet to see a jet on any team/map. I've seen maps with huge runways and choppers but no fixed wing. I'm searching through the map files for something jet looking but so far nothing (still got a few to do though).

Can anyone tell me a map with a jet on? I'm trying to find one so I can edit the server files at my end to make it spawn quickly in co-op so I can practice on my own. Practising flying on a live server in this mod doesn't seem a great idea and besides I'm yet to see one anyway. lol

I'll do you one better and give you three:

1.) Kashan Desert 64

2.) Qinling 64

3.) Silent Eagle 64

I changed all the timers to 10 seconds, shame you can't change the spawn time...

Also, when I grab a pilot kit and jump in an Apache, it says YOU CANNOT OPERATE THIS VEHICLE POSITION then kills me... So if a pilot can't fly an aircraft, do I need to be a sniper? lol

If it was on COOP there are certain vehicles that are BOT only, as they are easier to fly. Believe that's the message you get then, but not quite sure.

Yeah your right, I can get in another one lol. Also any tips on flares for jets? Spam them? Or do they launch in volleys also? They seem to have little effect when I use them.

Yeah drop a bunch of them, I think jets drop them one at a time.

^ They do. Really you want to be dropping them every time you dive on a target to bomb or think someone might be on you're tail, even if you are not locked, dropping flares at a steady rate will make it impossible to get a constant lock and they will only be able to cannon you or splash from hitting flares.

also theres new rcon commands if your in local or a passworded server, i forget what the jet one is much rcon spawner us_tnk_m1a2 will spawn a abrams right infront of you!!! anywho its in the files to find the jet ones

you mean like- us_jet_a10a us_jet_f16

Anyway a tip of advice, you can only spawn the vehicles/ kits (or anything else for that matter) that is on that map layer. Say like I'm on Kashan 32. If I type into console rcon spawner us_jet_a10a I'd CTD since that vehicle isn't part of the map (in single player). In MP, you'd just crash the server, which kind of angers people. You can spawn the other faction's vehicles, and turn up not needing any particular kit to use it.

Is there a way to spawn vehicles in local coop? I can in deployment but can't figure out how to do it in coop.
