Pretty simple . . . Would you rather Buy Arma 2 and play the upcoming PR arma2 Mod OR would you rather Buy BF3 and if PR DEVS decide they want to pursue creating a PR mod for BF3 Wait for the Development of PR:BF3 ? ? ? ?

( If i knew how to create a Poll which i dont) Just choose one of the following and post about it.

Buy Arma 2 for PR:ARMA2

Buy BF3 Wait for PR:BF3

Buy BF3 anyway

Buy ARMA2 anyway

Buy Both Arma 2 and BF3

Don't do anything Keep playing PR:BF2

Just wait for PR2 in a few years

buy both

I only change the PR version if PR2/3 will be dynamic and player friendly... I dont want to see all this **** like in ARMA2

Buy BF3 Wait for PR:BF3

that'll be one long wait i'd imagine




buy ARMA for ARMA and PR:ARMA

buy BF3 for BF3

and still play PR:BF2

Devs are making PR, PR ARMA2 and PR2 (Stand alone game with their own game engine).

So who needs BF3. It will, like all other new games only one Shooter for the standard causal gamer. Simply a Bad company with larger maps and more vehicles. Shit bloom grafics and bad mod support.

BF3 wont have any modsupport/modtools. So it will be hard to modify anyway.
Download the Arma2 Demo and decide if you like the game. If this is the case buy it.

Play BF3 demo, see what happens.

I have to agree, Got Arma 2 and to many controls to remember. V is to climb over objects, C is to get up, X is to kneel and Z is to get on your belly. But I don't think DICE will release any mod tools for BF3 because of the Frostbite 2 GE. PR will have to contact them and say something good to get the tools. I'm rooting for ya PR!

Yeah, lets compare a mod for a simulator to what is essentially a tactical shooter. Already bought Arma2 unfortunately so I will be able to play PRarma and I will definitely buy BF3. There is no choice between the two as they are different games entirely.

You like running and gunning? BF3

You like a military simulation game? ArmA2

You patient and want a good game thats like PR? PR:2, wait for it.

Oh, and for ArmA2, learning the ever so complex controls takes maybe 3 minutes. All you REALLY need is walk, run, sprint, prone, shoot, crouch, stand, aim. Learning the rest takes more like 3 more minutes. Oh, and reading the "manual" or the control scheme. God forbid we read either of those.

I already have ArmA 2 so I guess thats my choice. I'll play PR2 when its released though.

Im actualy downloading ARMA 2 demo this minute . . . its taking for Freaking ever because my buildings internet BLOWS the big one.

when BF3 comes out AGAIN the DEVS would need to evaluate its performance and abilities for modifcation if its unfit then PR2 and ARMA2 All the way if it IS fit for PR then . .. . it will be some discusson on if we should Split our resources and get more players to Join PR . . . THROUGH BF3 . . . Expanding to a Brand new game basicaly . . Bad company and BC2 . . just were fail all on their own . . we should wait and see how Bf3 turns out . . for all we know it could just be another gift wrapped POS.

Only time can tell if we should Expand to Bf3 or keep production on our other main views . . BF2 ARMA and PR2

IMHO PR will own big time , as it already does, any new mp oriented shooter that comes out, the mod downside is the graphics that are outdate, but that will change with the arma2 R, I think bf3 is gonna be a big fat console joke.

The demo is ****. Don't gauge the game on it. Arma2 is better but still clunky.

Buy neither. Wait for PR2 and buy that

I'd like to see a section on the forum to just store PR2 suggestions.

I don't think you get it. There is going to be NO PR BF3 it has been suggested many times, discussed many times and said no to many times. Just because a new game is coming out does not mean PR devs are going to make a PR mod for it
