Please get the Lynx back on some insurgency maps. I miss that lovely chopper.

Also I want more transport choppers on insurgency maps in general.

Also blackhawk in ramiel and chinook's on archer.

Its a huey for the german forces on Lashkar Valley.
I think the map Ramiel is outdated and rarely played on servers.
And that leaves the Chinook on Archer and that is a nice map.

I never see a server running Archer I love flying the Chinook. Seems that most Inf servers don't run a variety but just a few same maps

I'd like to see more of the merlin personally, i've only ever seen it on CNC on quinling... on my own local server learning how to fly. And its a beautiful thing to fly too. But yeah, a little more lynx wouldn't go amiss.

Al basrah would be a nice map to have the lynx on again however i suppose the view distance on the map is not good enough for the lynx again is it? I did like the lynx when on basrah when it was on it it did quite well i think but that was quite some time ago a lot has changed.

You're quite right, logically Basrah is the perfect map for a helicopter since it has the most open area.

One thing you're forgetting is that it is one of the most imbalanced and un-winnable map for Insurgents. The British already get a stupidly large amount of assets and adding in a chopper is on of the stupidest things that can be done.

No Insurgency map in PR needs another chopper. Chinook's get downed constantly in Archer and the Blackhawk in Ramiel isn't used for transport at all.

I agree with you to an extent DTACs, and I also agree that unless we're throwing Rangers and the 175th SOAR into the mix that littlebirds should be kept out of the game. However it always seems to me that the BLUFOR doesn't have enough air assets on insurgency. I see the need gameplay wise but for reality's sense it's a bit absurd for factions like the USA, USMC, and UK to not have domination of sea, air, and land. By proxy that means every other NATO or ANZUS forces see the same benefits.

We should wait for the 4km insurgency maps to see the proper use of transport choppers in insurgency game mode IMO

If the clients could handle it, I would increse VD remove 1-2 warriors and add a lynx or merlin, but I'm unaware if there have been any changes that will allow the clients to handle a longer VD on this map since the VD was decreased for a reason.

There is no harm in trying it out with the testing team to see if clients can handle it, IIRC its not that resource intensive as other maps atm.

In comparison to Dragon Fly for example, which has about the same amount of statics but 10x the flora.
