Cant talk in VOIP.

Hi, For some reason about three weeks ago now my ingame VOIP stopped transmitting, I have tried everything I have found on the forums and nothing has worked. I can't even mute and unmute myself in the 'manage' tap in game and when doing a 'mic test' in the options menu it dosen't pick up anything at all but my TS3 works perfectly as well as everthing else I use a mic for, so I know it's not my mic. And I can hear everyone in game, just can't talk to them. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it?

The lever in audio settings is unreliable. For me it doesn't show any thing when I test but when I ask people in game they can hear me fine none the less.
Did you disable "allow applications to take exclusive control" for the mic?
Tried running PR and TS3 as admin?
Make sure the microphone is set as "default device".

I have tryed both and neither work. I can use TeamSpeek just fine but when trying to talk in-game through VOIP it won't transmit at all, I can hear, just can't be heard...and nothing seems to be working so far...

its just a cheap head set made by rocketfish or somethin, not sure what make or modle. Be even with out the mic it still don't work but it worked fine before. I have a built in mic and it works just fine. All I know is that I can't even mute or unmute myself while ingame...won't click the box next to my name at all....name show's up, but its nothing at all, white noise or just increadably low....if that helps any...

Might be that your VOIP is disabled in the audio settings when you plug in the mic. Check if in audio settings the voip is disabled (not ticked).
The solution to that was, as from a different thread, you would edit the audio.con, set the voip on and write-protect the file.

Ok I figured out what you were talking about on the first part, and tryed setting the audio.con file to a write protected file but it still didn't work. I even tryed changing the settings manullly in by opening the audio.con file and changing the numbers next to each line that I needed to but it still don't work.
