[SOLVED] "The server has refused the connection"

Hi all,
i get this message once i try to login to the main Account server when the game starts.
OS: windows XP SP3, no firewalls (windows firewall disabled)
I was playing happy and knees-deep in opponents blood when it happened first (one day everything is fine, second - troubles start), i reinstalled the game, it didn't help.
Then i installed fresh copy of Windows XP SP3 and reinstalled the game, it didn't help either.
So here i am. I play this game for a few years and didn' come upon anything like that. Found few threads in this forum, but no one suggested anything helpful so far:

https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ction.html
I've searched main EA forums for help and found this:
The server has refused the connection - Battlefield 2 General Discussion (General Game Discussion) - Battlefield 2: EA Forums
But deleting profile folder didn't help.
by the way, i get almost identical message whlie trying to connect to PRmumble 0.5:
"Server connection failed: Connection refused". Is this somehow related to the main problem?
Any ideas?
