Description

On vanilla or even any mod bf2 will crash on any passworded server at the end of load, right before it will say join game. I have had this issue for as long as I can remember I used to use windows XP, then I had to reformat due to a virus. The issue has occurred on Windows XP 32 bit and Windows 7 32 bit. I can join normal servers but not passworded ones.

Ram: 4 gigabites(3.00 usable)

All BF2 modifications that I have tested with, the issue was not a problem until now because I want to play in tournaments.

I have provided as much information that I can think of.

You probably ported your settings. Maybe they are bugged. Try with default settings (rename/delete "Documents/Battlefield 2/profiles"-folder, reinitialize by starting vBF2 and retrieving your account).

Since switching operating systems didn't have any effect on it this might be a networking problem or hardware problem.
Try using WLAN or a different network adapter to see if the current port is the culprit. Post your network setup please.

I am using a wireless connection with a D-Link router if that helps, I will try deleting the profiles but I doubt it is it. I will have to wait until Friday to test if it fixed anything because thats the only time the server is up and i have the password.
