Would this be a sensible idea?
the card has a requirement of 450w but is this a minimum or reccomended ammount?

my current specs:
MSI P43T -C51 motherboard
NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT
2.40 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB RAM
Windows 7
1440x900 monitor

currently using a Cooler Master iGreen Power 430 W (RS-430-ASAA) Power Supply

Im on a very tight budget atm and im not too keen on the idea of replacing my PSU (Never done it before)

Buy 500-600w PSU.
It's should be work silent and quiet.I don't think so good idea to buy small powered PSU.

P.S I got Thermaltake Toughpower 700w.

If you're on a tight budget the 460 isn't what I'd go for tbh, the cheaper and slimmed down 460 768mb version just doesn't cut it when compared to the 1gb version, especially as the 1gb is only about ?20 more expensive.

However, both of those are roundly beaten in the majority of cases by the ATI 6870 as seen here:
