The server list populates fine, but when i pick a server and click deploy.
It freezes for a few seconds and then i get this message:

"You have failed to connect. Please check your network connection(s) and try again."

Ive tried so many things, i cant possible think what it could be.
- The game plays fine in single player.
- Ive tried, uninstalling and reinstalling several times.
- Ive re-installed and updated punkbuster
- Ive allowed everything in my firewall
- Ive even tried turning my fire wall off.
- Im running as admin.
- Ive tried running in xp compatability mode.

I dont get what it could be.

Try joining a EMPTY server and see if it does it then.

Is this only PR or vBF2 aswell?

I cant join empty servers, and it doesnt work on Battlefield either D:

This might be a driver issue. Check your manufacturer for latest drivers for
a) chipset
b) network adapters

you can also try using a different network card/port

How is your network set up? Are you using a router - have you checked the logs or tried deactivating the firewall there?

I have the exact same problem. I'm updating my network adapters now, I'll let you know if it works.

Didn't do anything. Very fucking annoying.

Interesting... I run a VPN (basically a different IP address and network) and I connect just fine to any server, but when I disable that VPN I lose connection and I can't connect again. Definitely a problem with my connection but I really don't know what.
