Good computer, still lagging

Hey, i wonder why i am having so low fps and if someone knows how i can fix/improve this?
Intel Core Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
8gb RAM
Win 7 64
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+
I have tried to change the affinity to 1 or more cores but that only makes the lagg worse!
Even with LOW settings i sometimes have like 5-10fps

I am running the same CPU, but it is OC to 3.0
4GB RAM
Win7 64
GTX460
everything on high AA on too
and my system is running fine, its running smooth enough that I have not checked fps in quite a while.
Maybe you have some background programs/tasks running when PR is running?

Btw, are you running widescreen aswell?

hmm that's strange, i got gts 250, 3gb mem ddr2 800 and athlon 64 x2 4000+ and i can run almost evrything at hight without AA, good luck, had u updated your drivers?

yes, but not a huuge widescreen
