Hello guys,

I have had a lot of problems with my PC in the past month, I am pretty sure it is RAM related.
I have been getting a lot of BSODs, a lot of lag on PR after a while of playing.

My computer freezes on startup for the first time about twice every couple of time - When I start my PC, once it starts loading the start up programs, it will freeze and the only way to make it work is restart it again, and it usually works regularly afterwards.

Sometimes when playing games the game will just freeze and the sound will freeze and the only way to make it work is to restart the computer.

I have been getting a lot of memory dumps in the recent days.

Sometimes when I am just browsing the internet, the OS will just freeze and the only way to make it work is to restart the computer.

Summary: Black screen of death, PC crashing all the time!

I have found a good memory kit on the internet for a not bad price, it is:
a 2GB x 2 Corsair DDRIII(3) memory running @ 1600 MHz, would you recommend it?
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3GHZ
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 9800GT
RAM: 2GB of 400 MHz memory (SHITTY, I KNOW!)

Oh, so the slot only supports the same type, then if I get DDRII RAM, it would work??
Also, what makes you sure that my RAM is DDRII not DDRI, because CPU-Z didn't give me my RAM type!
EDIT: NVM, my RAM type is DDR2, CPU-Z did give it to me, I just didn't note it at first.

It should cost me about 90 British Pounds... about 120$...

It looks good, just make sure your motherboard is compatible with it.

I was going to ask the guy above you how to find if my Motherboard is compatible, until I saw your post

The memory I am buying is PC2-8500 and it is 240 pin, and that's what my MOBO supports.
