How can I get Project Reality to run smoother?

Hello, I have just recently downloaded PR, and have a few questions to see why my computer can't run it that smoothly (please keep in mind that I am a computer idiot). I have a GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 video card. Is this card not that good for running PR? I am running PR at lowest settings, and my computer does not average that good of a FPS. I thought that my current computer could run PR on at least medium settings and maintain a good FPS. On low, I only maintain a solid FPS when there are few players around my current position, few things are going on, and there isn't a large view scape being generated.

If anyone knows the reason why im not running as smooth as I could be, please post.

Here are a few more system specs (taken off of Can You Run It?.com for Battlefield 2 for my PC).

OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition Service Pack 2 (build 6002), 64-bit

RAM: 3.9 GB

CPU speed: 1.8 GHz Performance Rated at: 3.6 GHz

CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) 9150e Quad-Core Processor

1.8 GB of video ram

Direct X: 11

331.2 GB of free disk space

I have played a little bit of this game, and I think its awesome. I would be willing to sink (at the most) $60 into running this game on medium smoothly.

Any feed back would be much appreciated :)

Your video card is lacking, you should upgrade that
Your CPU isn't the best as it is 1.8Ghz
RAM is good at 3.9/4 GBs

I suggest you upgrade your Video Card

Depends on your budget mate. I see you only want to spend $60 - GTX570 is good bang for the buck - The Asus DirectCU being particularly good, and runs very cool indeed. Beyond your budget though.

Nvidia GTS250 would be my recommendation for you. Asus Black Knight being the one with a very fine cooler on.

Or a 2nd Hand 8800GTX is a great buy if you have the PSU for it. (Use the newegg PSU calculator)

I updated my driver for my video card, and I'm running at an acceptable frame rate (by my standards) on low. So I may or may not get a new video card, only time will tell :)

Could you potentially link me to a GTS250 that you are talking about? I cannot figure out what is what. Being a computer illiterate does that to a person. I plan on ordering off of amazon, and there are alot of GTS250's.

Im assuming this one http://www.amazon.com/Asus-PCI-Express- ... B003LD7NWG
