When I run dual ATI 5770's in Crossfire, and I load up BF2, connect to a server and spawn in, my entire PC freezes up. It only happens on BF2 or any BF2 mod. I can play BC2, Black Ops, MW2, COD4 and ANY OTHER game just fine with no lock ups. Is there a setting or something that I can set in BF2 that can fix this? I know there has to be one, long time ago, I had a setting that once let me do this, but I lost it and never could find the link to it again.

One thing to note that puzzles me is that if I run BF2 in Windowed mode, Crossfire works great!

32 or 64 bit
brand of cards and mobo
version of ATI CCC
version of GPU drivers
etc.

Inside CCC you could start overriding 3D software options for PR and BF2, removing and downgrading performance until you find the problem...

I own and use a single 5770, and might just buy a 2nd one used and run it in Crossfire since I am a light gamer... so I'll be following this thread,
