A few things you should have...

(Hey guys I was looking around trying to get some more software on my computer and I couldn't find any places saying some great things to have so I figured why don't we make a list here?? 
Sorry if this was in the wrong spot because its not 'Technical Support' but its about Software; so if in wrong place sorry
I know a lot of this software is expensive so next to them im trying to put the free 'versions' of the software.
A few things I have are:

Microsoft Office - OpenOffice
Jing <- Free!
VLC Player <- Free!
Other Nice Software (not really needed for everyone)
