I'm about to go insane over this: basically Windows 7 won't play any sound at all; and I've tried every fix I could find, and none worked... Any ideas? I have Realtek Sound, but I don't think that that's the problem...

Try updating your realtek drivers. it might be stupid, but are you sure you didint do anything to any settings to make it go off? try to remember if you did anything that could have made it silent.
recently my friend had the same problem and he fixed it by reinstalling the OS

Not really specific enough man. needs more details.. try drivers.. headphones.. check all audio settings and then reply back. computer inf might be helpful as well.
