i have bf2 v1.20 my question is how can i update my bf2 to project reality mod? pls someone help me thanks!

You need to patch your game up to 1.50 patch.
All you need is:
Download patch 1.41 (less than 600 mbytes)
Download patch 1.5 (around 1.9GB).
If you have BF2 already installed, run it atleast once before patching.
Otherwise, patcher will corrupt your game data.

Install BF2 -> Run it atleast once -> patch to 1.41 (might take a little while) -> run atleast once -> patch to 1.5 -> Run atleast once.
When done, download all 3 parts of PR installer. (Can be found here: Project Reality : Realistic Gaming Redefined - Downloads)
And then simply install it.
During installation and stuff read guide and manual. This is really! important.

i got a problem, im done patching my bf2 to v1.41 but the game wont start aww

Bf2 won't start or PR?
If it's just PR check your shortcuts 'Target' window.
Right click PR shortcut, choose 'properties' from the bottom of the pop up window.
Under the shortcut tab you should see the 'target' window.
Copy and paste:
start +fullscreen 1 +szx 1024 +szy 768 +restart

After PR.exe"
Be sure to leave one space after "

Should look like this running Vista:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start +fullscreen 1 +szx 1024 +szy 768 +restart

Or For XP:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start +fullscreen 1 +szx 1024 +szy 768 +restart

PRs down load is 3 parts, so you need to download part 1 of 3, part 2 of 3 and part 3 of 3. For version 0957

OK sorry about my last thread it was wrong, i have bf2 version 1.0 can anyone guide me how to patch up to project reality mod and give me link of the patches thank you!

Install patch 1.41 first, then 1.5 (no need for any earlier patches, but 1.41 is essential)

Then install both project reality packages.

download this, then install it.
Then download this and install it.

Now you have your BF 2 updated, download all three parts of PR installer from here and install them in order.

Last part of installer will ask if you want to install PR version of mumble. Do it. It is a voice communicating program, an addition to in-game voip, and it is required for playing on better servers.

u guys sure i dont need to update my bf2 v1.0 to bf2 special force? becus i tried it before i patched my bf2 v1.0 to v1.41 and i cant open the game it crashed

my bf2 version is 1.0. then i wanted to do the 1.41 patch installed it fine then when i ran the game again it went to a black screen then flickered then went back to desktop please help i want to run the game with the patch but it will not work what can i do

Yes. Special forces is a paid addon.

As said twice above, update to 1.41, then 1.5. You can then install Project Reality.

If your game crashes, try reinstalling.
