So I've been having this problem lately of certain maps crashing on ONLY certain servers, for example, on tactical gamer I try to join when Iron Ridge is the new map. It loads 90% then I get a CTD. Or on Hardcore (AAS I think) I join when Gaza Beach is the map and I get a CTD at 90% of the load. However, I can join other servers when these maps are up, and even run them myself in my own server, just not these servers. Now I asked in the support forum and the poster said to check my maps folder it should be 2.19 gigs and 27 maps ( I think) well mine comes out to 1.92 gigs and about 3 maps short. And I don't have any map packs at all.

So My question is, is there any where where I can just download all of the files and such for the maps without having to re download PR to fix this problem?? Thanks guys!

Check your PrError.log with notepad..... perhaps that will give you a clue what is happening.

Its located in Battlefield2/mods/pr

Does it only record when crashes happen?? (Those are the only errors Ive had happen any ways, but Im asking if possibly there are smaller errors tht happen but dont make the game crash)

I believe it reads all errors detected, not only crashes. I'm not familiar with this log though so i have no idea how useful it is to you.

There's been threads about server specific CTD's before. There's something fishy going on for some poeple that's yet to be resolved afaik.

Edit; Apparently a 100% system reinstall solved it in this case. https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... round.html

Well another thing I heard is before restarting the game a clearing of the system cache does the trick as well. I just wanted to try the map idea before I did that or a 100% system re install.
