As we know the game is going to be unrealistic, ask them if (or how) you would mod in things like black outs for pilots, detrimental damage (area spcific), bleeding systems, etc. I have a good amount of faith that you guys can make an awesome mod given the tools.

Dunno if its too late, but im dying to know if one tank shell/rocket can take out a chopper/jet? Played BFV for 1 day, when it takes more than one rpg to down a chopper, its rather lame.

And if BF2 makes it more than one tank shell/rocket, will PR fix this? :D

1. Mapping - will there be any way to import portions of BF1942 maps into BF2 Editor? Things such as heightmaps?

2. MDK - when will BF2 Editor come out?

Thanks, and have fun.

if by xpacks you mean C4 then i can tell you with absolute certainty that there will be C4 in BF2, as far as modding goes they dont make the mods the community makes the mods, EA will give out an MDK or Mod-Development Kit to the modders which they can use to do coding modeling rendering skinning testing mapping and things like that.

its a mod site or a mod thats going to be made of course there gonna let the community make mods

if by expantion packs you mean like BF42 Road to Rome, or Secret Weapons then im pretty sure theres something in the works for eather end of 05 early 06

Questions from the duck!

-Could the current AI in BF2 conquest mode(birds flying from tree's) be made into something bigger. A living city?

-Will there be working bi-pods in BF2 such as the one seen on the sniper rifle, or are they just for show. Would it be possible to make them workable?

-Will there be any way to revive the artillary methods of BF:1941 and BF:V?

-Can they send "Ugly Duck" a free copy of BF2 a month early?

-Are there any plans for an SDK?

can we issue ultimatiums instead of questions like:

the demo or your life?

The bipods are simply for looks, put it wouldnt be hard to mod them in as 'firing modes' for rifles. The button for switching to nade shows him flipping up the grenade sight on the m16 and moving his hands. Also the switching from single to burst actually shows his finger moving and switching the thing.

So you could just make a fire mod that switches you from single fire to supported single fire, and to make it work only in prone, make it so single fire normal is semi accurate standing, more accurate crouched, and about the same accurate prone, while supported mode is fairly inaccurate standing and crouched, but uber accurate while prone. As the fire mod has animations, and thier is an animation editor, you just make a flipping out bipod animation (or steal the one BF2 uses when they take the gun out)

Same can be done with support weapons, full auto, and full auto supported.
