Installed but BF2 and PR won't start

Title pretty much says it. I got BF2 the other day, installed it, it ran fine except for some crashes. I found out about PR, followed the installation order (patched to 1.41, 1.5, 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3) now BF2 and PR won't start. I don't get any errors at all, it acts like it's trying to start up then crashes to the desktop. My PC shouldn't be the problem its specs are good enough plus I have 9 gigs of RAM (If you need any more info just ask). Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? Thanks in advance for your help!

When in doubt...Run as administrator. (This will usually solve the problem)

Thanks! I wish it were that simple; I have tried that and it unfortunately does not work.

Hold tight, theres some pc geniuses on here who will work it out for ya.
My suggestion, are you running it as pr.exe and not bf2.exe?

I reinstalled and it seems that everything works fine until I finish installing part 3 of PR, after that, BF2 and PR won't start, I get the splash screen, then a black screen, then it just goes to my desktop. Any suggestions?
