I just recently reinstall PR for BF2, haven't played it for about a year now. PR installed, but what I have notice is that all the assets like FOB, MG, Mortars are pitch black. They have no texture, all I can see is the shape of the asset in dark blackness. Is this normal or did something bad happen when I install PR? This never happen what I install the previous versions a while back.

try clearing your cache in Documents/Battlefield 2/cache folder. this will let BF2 re-optimize the shaders when you join a game.

virus is correct, its a bug introduced when we brought in thermal vision, reoptimising your shaders via virus's method should sort it out.
