Hey guys I am new here, and I recently installed the following aspects for Project Reality

part 1

Part 2

Part 3

and the singleplayer map pack

however upon restarting my computer, I see no shortcut to PR on my computer, but I find the .exe I run it as an admin,

PR file says (not responding), lags a bit, eventually closes, and nothing happens.

can anyone help me with this? I have battlefield 2 on steam, but the install directories were towards steam files so I dont know what the issue is.

I tried that, and the same thing happened. I get a "program is not responding" message, and it closes with it not opening.

When I was downloading the files from modb, when I clicked to open/download the parts they took a long time, not to download but to open it up

IE: open up my downloads tab, click part 1, and it opens up 10 minutes later.

is this a possible problem?

If so try disabling that and it will open your larger files much faster from what I have experienced.

Also what version of netframework are you running? I had similar errors when I formatted and I updated my .net framework and it fixed the problem. - Yet even though I could run BF2, just not PR.

I disabled UAC and it started working thanks a ton!
