Hello,
when playing Project Reality mod I notice you were using the Hebrew commands I've recorded few years ago, but I haven't found any place you giving credits for the creators of these.

please tell me who i need to contact in order to make this happen.

Tom,

BTW:
1.not all the sounds you are using was belong to me I have noticed there is about 5% of the voices which are not mine.

2. why the hell some of the voices are pitched down like that?!, I can send you the original if you would like to.

3. if you need any further help with more voices I am ready for that. (also learned some few things over the years so now I have better quality)

4. good job with the mod!

haha the "one" :)

actually i made those voices for my own mod was called "BlueShield" we never finish it. so then i donated the voices to the mod "Rising Conflicts" which also wasn't a big hit.
at last i gave it to "IDFMOD" which i have no idea what its progress so far...

i would have given it for you two if i only knew about this mod since i stopped playing BF2 3 years ago.

i know you cant hear it due to the pitch changes. but actually we was 4 actors

one voice for the commander

one voice for the squad leader

one voice for the grunt (which is the one i heard when playing PR)

and one for the girl who says "UAV ONLINE" and etc..

if you want to see the one of the faces of the Grunt player you can watch it over this video recording:

YouTube - Voices Overs for Blueshield mod Call of Duty & BF2

(this is a different recording made for Call of Duty mod but that's the same actor)

so again if you'll like to refresh the sound for a bit i can help you with that and make new records.
-Tom

That's interesting. Well, thank you, I suppose. :) I'm sure there's a good explanation for why the voices are in PR, the Devs wouldn't take something without asking normally.

Hey,
I think the voice recording were pitch bent two or three times, with different filters applied,
someone used a Sierpinski sawtooth and a crude pitch shift using some type of software module ...
You sound like an Israeli bad guy from a 1980's SciFi made for Iranian TV movie ....
it freaks me out every time I play as IDF cause it sounds so strange,
I speak some Hebrew, and worked in a PC shop that built custom MIDI and recording rigs for some years, my boss was one of the guys who patented vocal pitch shifting in the late 1980's at Eventide.... it's nice to know I was right thinking those files were significantly altered...

There are quite a few Devs from the UK who control the general implementation of sound files to BF2 :P R,
[R-Dev]sofad, [R-DEV]Drav, Tom, [R-DEV]Twisted Helix, [R-DEV]UK_Force, [R-DEV]Jaymz, [R-DEV]UK_Force, Mark Lacey from BIA, and [R-DEV]Drav ,

I'm sure someone will reach out to you to get the original audio files,

Many many thanks for putting the time and work into the community modding,

Did the PR IDF faction fulfill your original vision for the IDF mod all those years back?

You said Drav and UK_Force twice.

Just sayin'

Interesting story, I always thought that was what Hewbrew sounded like(the hewbrew voices in PR). So devs, what happened and why is there no credit to the author? Futher, Im never going to forget the name Tom Glazer when playing as IDF... you would be amazed at the number of players who spam your voice over and over again to the point where I want to kill the creator(no I'm not being serious).

If what you're saying is true you should contact [R-DEV]ZZEZ, he's in charge of IDF development.

Zuuuuuuuuz! Kadima! Yala!

haha eze kef. I don't know about you guys but I love the Hebrew voice mod, even though it doesn't actually sound like Israeli's... the pitch is off, most Israeli's are not big husky guys. Hey, at least the PR devs acknowledged that Israel has black people in the army

hey Oralis!
i still think about the reason why anyone will want to pitch down these voices? its sound so realistic and clear within the original version.

i've seen a lot of mods in my life and this mod definitely has the best sounds ever.

now i can see that they went to a range and recorded real sounds and that's awesome! ( i always wanted to do this but it always sounded so complicated, and im not sure anyone here in Israel would let me to lol).

haha imp really happy you love this sounds even thought they are pitched down, it took me a lot of time to wrote, record and edit them. (about 300 lines!)
and back then it was a a bit complicated to export OGG VORBIS sound into BF2, don't ask me why but it was.

but i most tell you this is not my voice, i made the production but i never recorded myself, if you'll watch this video then i am the one in front of the computer. i will upload later the samples of the 4 actors i recorded in the original pitch 1 of them is the grunt player you can hear on PR, they didn't use the others if i am not mistaken.
