This is something I can remember happening right from when Fallujah West was first introduced (0.7 I think?) although shortly after I ended up doing on an exodus from Project Reality for a while. Now I'm back I realised that I still have this problem.

Everytime that Fallujah West loads I get stuck on the pre-start up screen (When the Faction/Class options come up and the "Time until battle begins: XYZ"). The game itself is still 'responding' apparantly and I can see the game itself moving (as in, the trees swaying in the wind) but I can't hit Esc to disconnect and the class stuff never appears.

This happens on no other map but Fallujah West.

Moved to BF2 Support.

Does this happen every time you play that map? Because it may be the server crashed. Generally you can tell if the servers crashed by the out roar on mumble;P but if you don't use it you may never know.

This and being stuck on the dead screen are two symptoms of a crashed server.

Does it happen on a local game (a server created by you)?
