You disable them by either removing the 1 after their name in a file (can't remember which), or by renaming the actual movie files.
If you do this, however, I think punkbuster will punish you for modifying game contents.

I always rename the .bik files (to .bak). Never had a PB problem.

In your link
+restart
Description: Used by BF2 to restart the game without showing video for example when mod switching - can also be used to start BF 2 without showing videos using your own shortcuts
Usage: +restart <bool>
so its +restart 1

Any modification to the name or extension of the movies disables them. You can also put in your own movie, like it did <3
You can even put your favorite music under it, like i did

If you want to go directly to the main menu, you should add this: +restart +playerName ***** +playerPassword *****

I'm not using Steam, so I'm not quite sure how you'll have to do it, but for those who doesn't use Steam:
Right click on the shortcut, find "target", and paste it in behind everything.
So for me it would be: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +restart +playerName saXoni +playerPassword *******
