Staticmesh.fx not found

I swear I searched this topic the other day and found results and now I can't find a thing. The search engine needs an option for "Search exact phrase" because the way it is now it ***** about giving you all sorts of unrelated posts when you type in staticmesh.fx not found.

The error is mods/bfs/shaders_client/staticmesh.fx not found!!!! _DO_ check your working directiores, AND_ Blah blah blah.

It's bad enough I've had to jump through litteraly like a dozen hoops just trying to get PR to run... if PR wants more players they might need to make a thread called install doctor for vista and win7.

Specs are as follows:
AMD 3500+
2Gigs DDR500
7800GS
80 Gig SATA Hard Drive.

First problem during install: Patch 1.41 Could not find the BF2 Install Directory, had to manually add InstallDir in registry.

Second Problem: Defragment zipped many folders and would not allow PR to even start loading.

ALSO I messed around with the shortcut for PR... currently:

Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe"
Open in: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr"

I had deleted \mod\pr because a thread on here says to do that.

And I might add there is a lot of outdated information on your support page including stuff discussing CORE and LEVELS installation for .8...

should it read Shaders_Client_PR or what? why no updated threads? MISINFORMATION EVERYWEHERE.

there was no Shaders_Client it was already in a folder no zip.. copied everything inside to shaders...

NOW I just crash back to desktop with no error after black. Does this have something to do with the Target and Open IN?

added +fullscreen 0 to target box.

went to run BFCleaner and found that there wasn't even cache folders... when I went into Documents/Battlefield 2 earlier only to find BattleCommoDefaultUserSettings... so I added them... still the same error....

this is nucking futs.... 5+ hours and nothing but problems. I really want to slam someone's head into a wall at EA Games for not updating their fucking main page for the 1.5 update... not that it has anything to do with it... but it's the attitude of people like them that are the reason shit like this is going on.
