Fedora 15 - PR.exe / Mono .NET Framework

So, yeah, recognizing that it sounds strange to say the least, I am running my BF2 on Fedora 15 w/ Crossover-Games, which ironically has given me less problems and runs much, much faster than it did on Windows 7....

With that said, I was wondering if anyone knows of anyway to run PR through "Mono .NET framework" or through the use of Microsoft's .NET 3.0 vs 3.5? Crossover games currently doesnt support Microsoft .NET 3.5 at this time and only supports .NET 3.0.... Battlefield runs baby smooth, and I have a feeling if I could overcome this .NET issue, PR would run just as well.

To add a little fuel to the fire on this post as well, I will offer anyone who helps me an exchange, more so developers as well: If you are able to help me fix this issue, I will take a picture of BF2 and the Project reality "banner"........ at the former home of Mullah Omar, and the compound in which Osama Bin Laden planned 9/11. Seriously, I'm right down the road from it (I am a US Sapper / CIED INT-TECH in Afghanistan), and I will post a bunch of pictures of us blowing stuff up. (That and I will forever me greatful to be able to play PR, it took me a week in a half to download it and cost me $35 dollars and a case of twinkies!) So, yeah, thats what I have to bribe you guys with ;)

But yeah, anyone who helps me would be forever awesome! Thank you for your time on this matter.

UPDATE: So yeah, I was able to get Microsofts .NET 1.1 installed, along with 2.0 and the majority of 3.0. Now would this be enough to get it (PR.exe) running? I am going to try it before utilizing MONO, and I will post back results....

Afaik you definitly need 3.5 (not any higher or lower version but exactly 3.5 - they appear kind of stand-alone), sry.

From what I remember the .Net stuff is used for the custom PR menu screen. An alternative one (maybe in Qt) might be an approach. The idea would be that the user can choose between either theme 1 (the one right now) or theme 2 (possibly wine compatible without .Net at all). But I have no idea whether or not this is planned at all.

I hope that end up being the case, I know that I am not the only one who plays Battlefield 2 on linux, and having experiencing the speed improvements using Fedora vs Win7 for Battlefield 2, it would be a shame that one of the best mods for the game I am unable to utilize.

Perhaps a work around for the linux crowd should be released / made? An example perhaps being a launcher that uses and/or requires only .NET 2.0 (which I can install) and/or a launcher which is MONO .NET framework friendly?

No, praa.exe is programmed in C# and built on top of .NET 3.5. Just a small part of .NET (System.Windows) has actually anything to do with UI.
