When can we see 10 man squads?

I know 128 player severs are in testing and development and for obvious reasons won't be online anytime soon. But what about the 10 man squads? Surely this won't be hard to implement and i'm sure heaps of us can't wait to see it action.
As lets face it. 6 just won't do if you want a proper Humvee convoy and other things if you want things to work out epically and tactically instead of a every man for himself unrealistic bullshit that we sometime see.

So yeah. 10 man squads for the win. :)

I think quantity of players should be adjustable in server side. For my tactics needed 2 squads with 12 players in each squad for example.

Isn't it hard-coded?

I think I've seen this come up before...

there really isn't much reason for a 10man squad on a 64 server

for example, with a 32 player team pool it would be hell getting a helicopter transport from A to B

right now 6 man is best

fits in to a extra-squad APC, fits in helis with extras, the 8 spot transport limit is the main obstacle, which is why I'd rather max out at 8 players <- so you can either include a vehicle in your squad or organise 2 vehicles from in/out the squad

the benefits of 128 player gameplay outweighs the organisational problems we experience with larger squads, but the problems of larger squads outweigh any benefit on a 64 server

+1, leading 5 morons is enough, let alone 7.

8 should be max, IMO... It fits well into the 128.

Morons? And you like squad leading? A bit more respect for Johnny Public should be good...

Well me and my clan buddies do complain that there's only 6 spots in a squad, when usually there's like 12 of us or so, so a squad up-cap would be nice for us =)

Hopefully never...

8 I find max for PR public. It will ruin the gameplay imo.

You should really do something else than put everyone in the same squad...

With 12 you can get 3 squads of 4, thus getting 3 medics, 3 SAWs and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. More maneuverability with 3 smaller squads than 1 big blob of shit. :P

I AM the public... Moron myself occasionaly, in PR and free time, but im talking more of the times when your squadmates are really, really bad. But i ragequit at moments like those.

If possible, Id like to see the number of squads increased. 2 or 3 Squadleaders could link up and form a small platoon at their own discrection. If you have squads of 10 to 12 people then you need to sort out who will lead the other half.

I like this idea but communicating between squads is so difficult without mumble which no one uses because they are too lazy to set it up. SO we just end up using Voip and 6 just won't do.

10 may be too much but lets face it we need for than 6

You should limit your squad to only one moron.

Well depending on which server you go, mumble is being used. There is only so much you can do with a public crowd. If you become a regular on a server and play with other regulars, that sort of thing becomes easier.
