Morale effect

I was just thinking, how silly it is for RnL, to have that morale effect when NCO is around.
In PR is just exists because of the teamwork. I play better if there is people who know their shit near me, and im all confused when everybody dies and just two of ur left alive. Game itself has the morale impact, wich is awesome. You hear that a squad is failing, you alone start to worry that you will also fail, you hear a squad getting stuff done, it makes you want to get stuff done too. Even a flyby of a BH or something gives you new hope.
It's so nice! :')
Do you think the same?

Yep i admit it, big guns give me a hardon, phwoar firepower
Seriously though, I'm quite the same. I do feel a bit more 'secure' when I have a decent SL or proper air/armour support

Not real moral but more likely a change of mood, which can have a big impact on your performance.

Morale, its everywhere where are humans. Different morale coming from different situation, SLs, ect. For example when I'm playing while listening a good/fast music I feal like im in euforia state and everytching that I'm doing is much faster and easier, my refelx is beter, I'm able to kill wchole SQ automaticly witchout thinking about it.
When your sad, your thinking/doing everytching slower, then when you are in euforia/furious state, and its all coming from what is happening in brain.

In fact I do.... I rarely rage quit, but it has happened, usually it is due to an incompetent team who send people in half a squad at a time to take on a cache/well defended flag the entire round, and end up loosing big time. When I fly transport, witch is what I do most of the time, I try to make the ride as smooth as can be for my passengers, just so that they wont get annoyed when in the field, cause I know that sometimes when that happens to me for a long enough period of time, I just go solo.
I also try to have a small impact on the enemy when flying trans, especially on Muttrah, flying low, showing the enemy they cant touch me, and making fake landings behind enemy lines so that they might send people there to check it out, only to not find anybody.
Playing as MEC on Muttrah I always get a bit annoyed when a huey comes flying right over my head, knowing that they have a relatively safe ride all the way to anywhere on the map in less then a minute, while I can be forced to walk for 5 or more due to badly placed FOB's and such.
Knowing that I feel that way, I try my best to make other people feel the same when it's the other way around.

It is a bit demoralizing when your entire team gets chewed up by the MEC MG. Had that happen to me the other night. But fear is not there anymore as when I was first playing PR as fear has been replaced with experience so its not as demoralizing as when I first started. But it is true, as a squad leader keeping your squads morale up is always good. Keeping a balance of fun and action for everyone and avoid frustration at all times. Morale is fairly different ingame, like everyone is saying, its just a mood changer. Morale in real life is way different than a game. We can re-spawn, real life you cant.

Some times all it takes is a commander and 2-3 good squad leaders and the rest will fall in place, and the whole team will become organized and pwn the other guys.
(good, clear, calm and even friendly squad leaders make you try again and again without boredom or complaining, just like real life)
And sometimes the team had failed miserably, and every squad that tries something fails/gets repulsed that the whole team ends up at base/carrier doing stupid sh*t like random nades and tks/shooting assets, basically gave up, usually in the last 10/20 mins. or sometimes the team is so dysfunctional people start leaving and server dies

Ive seen it all happen.
One personal experience was flying A-10 in kashan, 2/3 squads were on the hill east of south village waiting to take it but not moving.
I checked to see if it was clear and dropped my load of dumb bombs (no lazes) and they fell right on the village. I got alot of "GJs". even though it was empty and I got no kills, it was capped only in 2 mins. So basically watching the bombs flatten the village (even when theres no opposition) encouraged them all to move in and take it, I was proud that day

I often like to build squad momentum on small, easily achievable victories. Start of defending a T-building or even just building an FoB (something easy) and build to more ambitious, more difficult objectives. For every small task you complete your squads morale, confidence and cohesion will increase until your an unstoppable force, charging around pwning anything and everything that moves. On a good day anyway
This works well with public squads or just with squads where people aren't so used to playing together.
Promoting synergy, like a boss

I try to make sure all sniper kills are revived.
When the sniper gets no registered kills he is more likely to expose himself and get shot.

I like making alot of sound. Or the sound effects in PR. The immersiveness. Plays a big role in how i percive the game.
So if my team, is making noise, and blowing shit up with cannons etc. Or if its just utter silence. Nothing. Eitherway, i get in the mood.

^ Dont feed the troll. >.<
Edit: hmm gotta add something on-topic.. as one dude here said, fear (and immersion) got replaced by experience for me, no morale, no fear, no "right" or fair way to play it, only what wins and gets me shizloads of kills matters.
I enjoyed PR so much more when I was an epic noob, sticking to any team mate's *** out of fear and confusion, those were the epic times, too bad I cant bring it back.

Yea very true, when you were new to the game, all sounds were new, all assets were new and most importantly the maps were new which gave the impression that the army you are fighting for just moved into the area and you dont know what to expect
I remember my first game of PR on Qwai River, we were held up in government office for nearly the entire round. not much was happening but i was just taking everything in and it was awesome

+ 1
It's scary when you don't know the cause of the explosion or the invisible force wiping out your squadmates. But with experience comes... boredom? Nah, PR's still fun, just in a different level.
