Ok I decided to put together some pictures I took from Iraq, ones that may assist anyone out there trying to create a realistic Iraq Style Map.

I am working with Duckhunt on the Basrah Map, and the way that is progressing thought there may be some other keen mappers out there who may want to try !!

These pics where taken last year by myself and are from 2 places - Baghdad and Basra, hopefully they will give you a small "feel" of the way the land lies, and other things ?

Hey UK_Force...when I get my computer back up, i'll send a bunch of pics from Mosul to you if you want. Just pm me your e-mail and i'll send them when I can. And maybe you could post them up? Just a different area of operations to make different terrain models.

Wow, iraq has some beautiful buildings...lots of wrecked stuff but that mosque with the golden round thing is fucking awesome, nothing like the standard mosque in PR
