Horizontal line in M40A3 scope only visible when moving and the vertical line/little notches in M21 scope disappearing.

Steps to Reproduce:
Request a M40A3/M21 kit, aim down sights, move the sights and walk around to see how motion affects it

Fallujah 64, insurgency, tacticalgamer, 0957

Video Settings (if needed):
Terrain medium, all other settings high, 16xAF, no AA, 1920x1080 resolution. On GTX460 1GB

Do you have AA on?

Nope no AA, just 16xAF.

That might be what's causing the line to dissapear. I know the M21 is alright since I've used it not very long ago, but I can't say the same for the M40.

You have to enable your AA to see the horizontal lines.

With M21 only those little notches keep disappearing. But not seeing the horizontal line at all on the M40 really affects your aim.

ok this is how the M21 looks, 50% of the time vertical line is missing depending on which direction you aim.

You need to have anti-aliasing on in the game's video settings.

Just curious, why is this? Seems a really wierd error to get...

The lines are so thin that they don't render sometimes. Anti aliasing forces them to render completely.

Wouldn't this easily be fixed by pulling the sight a tad closer? Don't like keeping AA on, I'm already dipping to sub-30FPS in fallujah.

Could simply be fixable by making the line just a tiny bit thicker.

the lines are thinner than one pixel, thats why theyre not rendered without AA.
Otherwise, making them one pixel thin wouldnt look that good with AA anymore. But because many players arent using AA the lines should be thicker.

Just invest or don?t play DMR/Sniper anymore....

lol sniper gameplay is the main reason I'm playing PR, too many pissheads throwing you out of any asset squads because you dont talk to them with a mic.

why dont you talk. for most of the community its the only reason for playing. COMMUNICATION!

on topic. is it possible to make the lines thicker if you use no AA and the same as now if you use AA?

Why should I invest when I can solve the problem with 2 mouse clicks.

I get even less FPS on Fallujah and still have AA on.
