It seems like most of pr developers agree that having zoom on handheld weapon ironsights is not realistic and will not be ingame, so here's my question: why do some of the stationary and mounted weapons (M2HB on humvee for example) have the zoom, when they also have ironsights only?

Placeholders. Stationary machine guns would typically have scopes in real life, but such have not yet been modelled.

Well it doesn't look like there will be anything attached to them (like PKM looks). Any source of these revelations? And how about machinegun mounted on the Humvee?

the machine gun on the humvee has no zoom.
Also I think that most HMG's do have scope attatchments or are able to have a scope, eg. the ak74M with orion sights doesn't look like it can have a scope but all it needs are railings.

Nothing new, since the PKM has been brought ingame, DEVs keep saying that its only a placeholder for PKMs with rails and attached scopes.

I guess you mean the large zoom on stationary deployable hmg's, this was for gameplay reasons as they weren't effective enough as base defense.
on the humvee: you should see normal view as just standing in the m2 cupola, without actual aiming, the "zoom" is making use of the weapon's iron sights, which bring's your eyes closer to the weapon

Yeah, I made a mistake. That wasn't Humvee but British landrover. It has zoom on the mounted M2 HMG.

Why couldn't there be a scope on a grenade launcher?

Because we dont have grenade launchers mounted on land rovers ingame.

As others have pointed out the zoom on deployed .50s is a placeholder for scoped versions and for game-play purposes to make them an effective defensive tool. If you'd have searched you could have found the answers to your questions.
