PR freeze at loading screen

Ok well first of all hello to all of you since I am new to these forums. I have followed PR for a while and have recently decided to re-install it. Well the install went perfectly fine until I select a map. The map loads to 100% then it freezes when it says "Loading complete verifying client data". 
It doesn't happen to the Vanilla BF2, and I have tried everything from just letting it set for a while to lowering the details/resolution etc. I am running 32 bit Vista. Please help me, I would like to get back out there! Thank you.
