Read the manual, it will explain all of that :) It applies to both multiplayer and co-op

Should be in the gamemode section under AASv3
'The Manual. Page 7' wrote:Advance and Secure (AASv3)

This mode is the closest to the original BF2 Conquest
mode. The objective is to capture all of the control
points (CPs) while losing fewer tickets than the
enemy. CPs can only be captured in a certain
order to simulate a shifting front line and focus the
fights. The CPs that may be captured are indicated by
an orange attack marker while those that need to
be defended against enemy attacks are highlighted
with a purple defend marker.

At least 2 men need to to be in the CP radius to
capture it and it can take more than a minute to
secure a CP. Although you can not capture CPs out of
the order, if you already started neutralizing or
capturing a CP you can always finish the current
stage of capturing/neutralizing, even if you lose
another position during the capture period. If a CP
controlled by one team is neutralized and captured by
the enemy, the team will lose 30 tickets.

I'm new here and I wonder if there's a link to the proper SP manual for PR?
I can't seem to find out how to install it........ I suppose it is IN the manual somehow, somewhere here on the site.

Thanks in advance

You don't need to download it separately, just install pr and click singleplayer or co op.
Both sp and mp are included in manual.

And, pray tell, where is the link to the manual??? This entire site is a mess and I can't make neither head nor tail of it... :(

I did manage to download 3 rather large files from this site and when I tried to install them to my BF2 directory I got some sort of error message (can't remember now) and it halted the install process until I had reinstalled BF2 and doing that ruined my key code!! The product key I mean. So here I am, pissed off, with an unplayable (on-line) game... :-x
I have to resort to SP games OR uninstall BF2 including mods that still work in off-line mode.
Then reinstall BF2, patch it up to version 1.5 (though 1.41 is the latest official patch...??) THEN I can install PR, MAYBE! ...... :-x :-x :-x

Well, there it is.
Best wishes

Here is link to manual https://www.realitymod.com/manual/pr_manual.pdf
Error during installation might be caused by not having net framework. You should install this, before installing pr.

Ok, so PR version 0.973 works in SP mode... Bots are as stupid as ever and can't seem to overcome that old inherent habit of running head first into walls and gates. Also they never supply a squad with medics... I find that odd as that was beaten into submission back in the 0.6 days. (yes, I was here then too)
What else is wrong with this version of PR? Well, aside from the fact that it's not a mod for BF3, a game I cannot run on this PC, I can't seem to find anything in particular wrong with it. It is, after all, a MP game! :)

PR is a multiplayer game.

"co-op" was just a couple people making some sort of simple "training" mode replacement.

Which, on a side note, I still hate them for xD Training was awesome. :P

Anyway, if you want the full PR experience, play online. Co-Op is nothing like real PR. If you are afraid to learn, there are many people out there who like to help. I heard wicca likes to train new players :)

Not quite, it was originally for players with limited internet bandwidth to enjoy PR and the decision was made to integrate it into the main game to save downloaded two separate large install files.

I believe you are correct.
As I recall it, the 0.61 version had the theme from the American Civil War movie; Gettysburg in the menu! :)

Your dislike for Coop/SP is well noted, but stop talking out your ***.
