Please put any further questions there.

WINDOWS 7 32bit AND VISTA 32bit

you may need to temporarily disable UAC/run as administrator for this to work
Go to a DOS window by typing CMD into your "search programs and files" or go into Run

type bcdedit /set increaseuserva 3072 and press enter

Image

Restart your PC and all should be fixed.

*NOTE* DO NOT RUN PR IN COMPATIBILITY MODE WITH WIN7

WINDOWS XP 32bit
NOTE: This is a bit more complicated than it is for win7 and vista, and you could possibly destroy your windows if you mess up the boot.ini file so if you are not good with PCs i do not recommend you do this

Enable the 3GB switch on Windows XP

Right-click My Computer. Click Properties.
In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
On the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
In the Startup and Recovery dialog box, under System startup, click Edit. The Windows boot.ini file will be opened in Microsoft Notepad.
Create a backup copy of the boot.ini file. Note: Boot.ini files may vary from computer to computer.
Select the following line in the boot.ini file:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

Press Ctrl+C to copy the line and then press Ctrl+V to paste it immediately below the original line.
Note: Your text string may be different from the text string in this solution, so be sure to copy the text string from your boot.ini file, and not the text string included here.
Modify the copied line to include ? /3GB?, as shown in the following example:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional 3GB" /3GB /fastdetect
Note: Do not overwrite any existing lines.

Save and close the boot.ini file.
Click OK to close each dialog box.
Restart your computer.
During startup, select the 3GB option. If you do not select the 3GB option, the system will default to the 2GB total memory setting.

Note: If problems occur during startup, you may need to update some of your drivers.

^it worked for me, theres a number of reasons why your game might crash on loading, this is a way to get your 32 bit OS to use more that 2GB of ram per application, and thus your crashes which might be happening due to the game needing more than 2gb to be used will do now use it, and in term not crash, remember that win7 and vista ultimate can use 4gb ram not sure about home premium, 64bit OSs also dont have this limitation in them (with the ram usage).
Ill try testing it more later, playing on high textures, and high texture filtering, but i used to crash with high textures and high texture filtering off before applying this.

EDIT:
Played 3 rounds straight, no crash what so ever, (usually i would crash on load on next map or 30 mins into the game of the next map) on these settings:
high textures
medium terrain
high geo
high effects
low lighting
shoadow dynamic lights off
2x AA
medium filtering

Tested and approved for me on Win7 32 bit with 3,25Gb of ram (4Gb physically).

No crash after 40 rounds (before i got a crash each 3 rounds).
Setting on high.

It must be stick !! :)

lets your 32bit system use more than 2gb per application, if you have 4gb i guess you could put the thing to 4096mb, but 3gb should be enough for any game

EDIT: It seems that ram per process had increased but I still crash after loading map, right after clicking 'Select Squad'

Funny thing is that crashes only happen when joining servers, while there are no problems with running maps local at whatever settings.

This should be considered as a sticky. Helps alot with memory crashes.

This trick solved all my problems. No random crashes, can play all maps without any problem. Thanks a lot karambaitos.
