Just tried to install the new patch but I get this error message




Any1 know how to fix this??

Instructions for modifying your registry to be showing the BF2 installed version as 1.5:

1. If you are running a 32 bit operating system:
   1. Download the file: http://realitymodfiles.com/ancient/bf2_ ... re_x86.zip
   2. Extract and run the .reg file and press yes to merge the settings with your registry
2. If you are running a 64 bit operating system:
   1. Download the file: http://realitymodfiles.com/ancient/bf2_ ... re_x64.zip
   2. Extract and run the .reg file and press yes to merge the settings with your registry

Ah I see you have to do that when you are running the installer, cheers works now

Thanks AncientMan but there is no wow6432 folder in 32 bit operations systems. It should be

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2]
"Version"="1.5"

Apologies, copy/paste fail. Fixed.

Ok i was rather stupid but got it working now, i wont mention how stupid i was. haha thanks for the help.
