Different mine marker mechanic

As far as I can tell, at the moment a player can place somewhere between 10-15 mines, but only one mine marker. This is more of an issue on insurgency where mine placement is incredibly important for restricting the flow of coalition transport, logistics and armour. At the moment, grenade traps and mines seem to kill just as many insurgents as coalition forces.

So, I have three separate suggestions pertaining to mines and marker placement.

Suggestion 1: Give more mine markers to sappers and combat engineers.

Suggestion 2: Give the sappers and combat engineers an ability to remove their own mine markers.

Suggestion 3: Have the colour of your own mine markers be different (perhaps yellow) to aid deletion.

The purpose of the above suggestions is to increase situational awareness for insurgents in reference to mines and grenade traps, as they should probably know more about their locations than the Americans.

Yes, I am aware that a commander can perform some of the functionality described above, but I can't really see a reason why an individual soldier can't give this intel to the team.

Mine marking can be an issue if you spread your mines widely. However mine marking can cause issues with the amount of Skulls and Cross Bones that fill up the map. I think giving more would cause too much visual clutter.
