I would really like to help but I really don't know much about coding for BF2 if anyone is willing to help me learn I would love to help in this.

I agree with intergrating a TS and Vent option for the final version... That would be really nifty.

Perhaps conjoin them all into a Communications tab.

Then for all other programs maybe include a tab that allows you to specify your own shortcuts, like if people want to add a fraps button to their launcher, xfire etc. A simple text field where you can enter the target of a shortcut and specify the new buttons name.

Now that would be neat :]



And of course don't forget the 1337h4x tab unlockable once you get 50 sniper headshots. :smile:




This thread has given me a lot of new ideas for our FS launcher, think I will head over to FS IRC right now.

i agree a launcher would make starting up multiple apps a LOT easier

I personally wouldn't use the idea as just launching the programs individually isn't time consuming for me or a problem however this a great idea and I can see a lot of people that would use it.

I've revived my launcher ;) Currently redoing all its graphics and updating the code.

But I would like to have a list of codes possible to add behind the exe. This would safe another datastream thus smaller application thus more space for graphics etc.

Codes like:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr_sp_08 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

I know, but I'm compiling all data within the EXE. BF2.exe has the data in folders. So every song, skin, button or whatever I use is within my exe..
