Simple gear system
Can we add some simple gears to ground vehicles? i would be nice to have a APC going the same speed as the infantry at the street and not bouncing forward and back because it can only go full on. The gears would include just S-slow,M-medium and F-fast they could be easily controllable by the mouse roll. I know theres been suggestions of gears before
but i didnt find anything like this, please reply.

If you drive a lot, maybe consider using a gas pedal, or controller so you can hold it down just a little, or ease on the gas so it doesn't bounce around.

Re: Simple gear system
Gas pedals work, heck. even joystick works for controlling the speed. I putted my ground vehicle thrust to my X-axis on my joystick (aka push up/down), so in rather ease i can control my vehicle's speed. Very handy at some situations. Though this requires a perfectly calibrated joystick.
There's several ways to go around the "gears", just little creativity is needed.

This idea has come up already on the forum some time ago, i'm not sure what became of it. But if it was easy to do it probably would have been implemented by now.
If you can read this the ***** fell off.

whats really cool is that I can double up the buttons and if i want to crawl slowly i can.. apparently works well as sniper.. =) (the first person animation moves slower but i'm not sure about the 3rd person animation.. we'll have to check this)

Quoting the already suggested suggestions thread. https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f18-pr ... tions.htmlVehicles - Manual transmission (multiple gears system)
Locking for re-suggestion. As far as I am aware a gears system was deemed not possible/needed.
