Isn't the Osprey being redone due to safety issues (it was horrible unstable when hovering)?

Yeah I can't remeber what the issue was called but when hovering it would stir up vast gusts of air causing it's wings/propllers to lose lift and for it to lose alltiude very fast. Helis occasnily have same issue but they can manuver out a lot easier.
Look at the poll. Other (name it) is one of the options. He/She was naming theirs.

Yeah something to that effect. They've been working on that thing for about thirty years now, and there are some out there with the Marines and USN. If this game (BF2) is taking place in the not-so-distant future, it might be nice to have a new helo like that in it. Especially if the Marines are the only ones getting it for combat.

They are finishing their final eval on the Bataan right now; the first operational squadron is due to stand up this Summer. The Thunderchickens! No shit, that's the name of the squadron.
BTW, I think if someone works for Bell for as long as your dad has, they should have a hangar or a helo named after them! :O

I predicted that comment. But chinook is a far more interesting design, there nothing like it that looks newer in UK or US hanger.
And it is generally cool, no one will deny that!!!!!!!!
It also carries quite alot of cargo, i dont know many that can carry as much and are so very old and COOL!

I am perfectly aware of the CH-46 Sea Knight, it just does not look half as nice. And the brits dont touch it for that simple, plain reason - it aint cool enough for us.

To each his own. Personally I prefer the look of the Vertol 107. I think it looks tons cooler than the CH47. Plus with the current problem of the number of seats available in game, the smaller Vertol might be a more logical choice.
