looks good... but isent that kinda fast?...
or are snipers tained to um.. whaat evere thats called... so fast.

i know for a fact that speed is possible, but still......
it almost feels liks he is in a hurry with an adrenalin rush.....

but still, its great looking!

Check that video, at about 2:17 for how they can be reloaded.
I agree with this. A sniper isn't going to be jerking on the bolt to reload as fast as possible, sending the brass flying off onto the ground. Isn't the sniper supposed to be dependent on stealth and precision.

Don't get me wrong. I like the animation. I just think that it is a bit fast, as if they were shooting as fast as possible with a No. 4.

Slowing the animation could also help cut down on people complaining that when they shoot, they are missing due to not waiting long enough ;)

Instead of having a short reload with a magic wait time, you could slow the bolt cycle so they KNOW when they can fire ;)

More work, I know.... :P

Looks awesome either way though!

Funny, because the reload times are the same as they are in 0.85.. Bolting however has been reduced by one second. The times where a shooter can be meticulous with the action is when they're supported, but because of the rigidity of the animation system, I've opted for flexibility on the part of the shooter whether to go mad-minute at any time.

Oh, my bad, I didn't mean that they are slower than they used to, I just meant that if they were longer to get closer to the min deviation time that it would help out a bit maybe, but I also understand your point about giving flexibility :P

Sexy stuff Chuc, it is indeed a little fast and the SSG(?) bolt could be slowed a touch.

Yeah that's true. There's always the situation where someone might want the fire faster.
