[TASK] Patria XA-188 Wheeled APC

Post by Glimmerman »

Modeller required, any volunteers?

Model could be shared perhaps between Dutch and Norwegian Faction? -> Sisu Patria XA-186

Vehicle could be armed with a .50 cal on top.

Its not a high prio model at this time but if someone wants to make it its appreciated a lot.

Ill send you a rar file with a bunch of pictures soon.

For the UVmapping and texturing we need to find someone, but i hope when people see the model one will stand up and do it :)

Nope, but it’s an easy thing to do now that the XA-203 is done. The biggest difference being the turret, or lack of turret, and the different .50 cal mount. Which reminds me, do you have any new photos of the mount or info about its name? I might have enough photos, but more is always better :)

i was told the mount is the same as on the .50cal mount used on landrovers and mercedes benz jeeps, so perhaps you can take it from the PR UK Landy.

Yes some progress, but very little, only to get the Dutch SISU starting :) The biggest thing left to do is the .50 cal mount but other than thet there really isn't that much to do other than minor tweaks. Sadly I wont be able to make any progress on this untill june 2. because of Uni wich is totaly swamping me with 12 hour workdays, filled with boring papers and exams...

Ok we will wait patiently until june :)

The .50 cal mount and .50 cal gun are both a child model right?

cant you use the one on the Brittish landrover? ive been told that they are the same.

Good luck at uni. :)

The mount is from the norwegian one, forgot to remove it, and the ".50 cal" as you say is just a 2 second mockup made to check for scale :) If the landy one is the same than i'll use that one, but how do i get a hold of it?

Thanks, I do belive I need it :D
