Okay, frankly, I think PR is the best mod I have ever played (which includes Europa Barbarorum for RTW.... :D ) Anyway, I want to help out with something, but even though I am "okay" with PC's (When it comes to my school, I'm probably the 2nd to 3rd biggest technology buff).

However, I don't have much skill in any of these:

Modelers - Texture Artists - Mappers - Coders - Animators
Sound Engineers - Public Relations

My closest one is mapping, and I haven't done much. Just some things on World in Conflict, and I plan to work on Left 4 Dead extensively when the SDK comes out. But I can't figure out the BF2 Editor . . . (at first glance, it's harder than the AA Editor, which I can't figure out)

So, I am wondering if you guys think I should attempt to apply now and hope I get accepted, or should I try to find some sort of "non-existant" guide. (Once I know the controls, I am sure I will be good at it. I love math, geography, and computers....)

Or if there is something else I can volunteer to do?

If you really want to help PR learn one of these things.
Modelers - Texture Artists - Mappers - Coders - Animators - Sound Engineers
Search around for tutorials online or look here Modding Tutorials - Project Reality Forums

Dont beat yourself up also, just relax, dont stress, then youll feel like such a failure... Just use like 1 hour a day. Thats what i do... Makes you relax

Thanks Rhino. I started and so far it's not that hard (of course I have a LONG way to go...). Anyway, I am gonna work on my own making a few maps until I get "good" at it. I won't have much to do over summer, but I will have a lot during my Junior Year (next year). So it will be at least a year before I think about applying.... ;-)
